The Armadale Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the generosity of Paul Harrison from Beaver Tree Services, who has donated the first round of Chamber memberships to local businesses involved in the Kelmscott Advocacy Project.

Through this generous contribution, approximately 10–20 local businesses will receive an Armadale Chamber membership, giving them access to valuable opportunities for connection, promotion, advocacy and business support.

These businesses contributed their time, experiences and perspectives to the Kelmscott Advocacy Project. Their involvement helped the Chamber better understand the challenges affecting the local business community and advocate for meaningful improvements across the Kelmscott area.

Paul’s contribution is about far more than providing memberships. It demonstrates his genuine care for the area and his belief in supporting the people who work hard every day to keep the local business community strong.

What makes Paul’s gesture particularly meaningful is the humility with which it was offered. He was not looking for recognition. He simply wanted to help local businesses become more connected, supported and represented.

By sponsoring these memberships, Paul is helping participating businesses remain connected to the work that began through the Kelmscott Advocacy Project. They will now have further opportunities to build relationships, attend Chamber events, promote their businesses and have a stronger collective voice.

The Kelmscott Advocacy Project has shown what can happen when local businesses speak openly and work together. Feedback gathered from more than 40 businesses helped bring attention to the needs of the area and contributed to important outcomes, including the City of Armadale’s commitment to local improvements and business support initiatives.

Support from people such as Paul helps ensure that this momentum continues.
